Biography
Ben Payne, a British artist, graduated with a Psychology degree from Southampton University. Largely self-taught, he learned observation and draftsmanship from his artist mother. A former behavioural therapist specialising in autism, Payne turned to full-time painting in 2003. His coastal-inspired works, exhibited widely in the UK, reflect an escapist realism, earning global collectors in 22 countries.
