Biography
Born in Dundee, Scotland, in 1962, Colin Brown studied at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, earning a BA Honours in Fine Art (Painting) in 1986 and a Post-Graduate Diploma in 1987. A John Kinross Scholarship took him to Florence, and he later worked in Dusseldorf. Recipient of Pollock-Krasner and Scottish Arts Council grants, his work graces collections in Scotland, Europe, and the USA.
