Biography

Born in Mirfield, West Yorkshire in 1960, Nigel Cooke sold his first painting at 14. Without formal art education, he joined the Merchant Navy after school, later becoming a caricaturist at Butlins in 1992. His global travels inspired his shift to fine art, creating evocative cityscapes that have earned him acclaim across the UK, USA, and Far East.
